Microsoft has officially increased the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription from $19.99 to $29.99/month. The move comes as Xbox expands its cloud gaming, day-one releases, and premium features for players worldwide.
Microsoft says the increase supports more day-one releases, better cloud performance, and added perks like Ubisoft+ Classics and exclusive partner rewards.
Microsoft rebrands Game Pass into three levels — Essential, Premium, and Ultimate. Ultimate jumps to $29.99/month, with new exclusive perks.
Subscribers now get access to expanded game libraries, better cloud streaming, and more partner perks — offering smoother, richer gaming experiences across devices.
They’re also rebranding / adjusting tiers: 1. Core → Essential (remains $9.99) 2. Standard → Premium (stays $14.99) 3. Ultimate gets the big bump to $29.99
